We’ve been working hard to provide the most effective virtual services to our customers, including our new MLS compliant virtual showing video service. Our virtual showing video enables real estate agents to lead buyers through a property.
Agents can choose to be on camera, or not. If you choose to be on camera, and if you’d like to use the virtual showing on the MLS, you cannot say your name, your brokerage, you can give any contact information, you can’t wear your name tag and you can’t have any logos on your shirt. You can still be on camera, leading a potential buyer through the property. This is still compliant with the new MLS virtual showing rules.
We suggest you bring notes so you can reference them while on camera. It’s perfectly fine to have notes while you are on camera. Consider the camera a buyer walking through the property. The viewer will be focused on the property itself, so it’s perfectly acceptable to refer to your notes.
DeVore Design will also provide a branded version of the video with all of your contact information. And, since DeVore Design is a Zillow Select Photographer, we will upload the branded version directly to Zillow, since agent branding is allowed on the Zillow platform. You can use the branded videos on social media, email blasts and your own distribution channels.
If you choose not to be on camera, we will walk the camera through the entire property, front to back, as if a buyer was walking from room to room. We recommend you let the photographer know what areas you’d like included, or if there are any areas you’d like excluded. For videos without an agent, we will put music under the video. And we will still upload the video to Zillow, and provide you with both branded and unbranded versions.
This is a casual video service designed to showcase the property with as much detail as possible. This isn’t a cinematic video service, it’s intended to be an affordable, single take video, 4 to 7 minutes long, or longer, walking the viewer through the entire home, front to back.
You can add a virtual showing video to any of our photo or video packages, and it can also be ordered as a standalone service. You can combine this with a Zillow 3D Home Tour for an even more immersive virtual experience.
Virtual showing videos are a low cost alternative to our more cinematic video offerings, and of course all of our cinematic video services are also still available.
